McDonnell Douglas Company
These promotion and advocacy efforts for the McDonnell Douglas Company (now Boeing) appeared in both print and poster form. The first item, in support of the U.S. Air Force’s F-18 fighter program, commemorated the long partnership between McDonnell Douglas and the U.S. Navy (word has it a few members of the top brass cried when they saw it; softies). The second and third items were part of a successful effort to convince Washington decision makers to continue funding for the U.S. Army's Apache helicopter program. Each told the real stories from Operation Desert Storm (the Apache effort was awarded a Creativity Magazine Certificate of Distinction and was a finalist in the New York Festivals Awards).
